I hear ya! I actually looked into the emigration requirements; it was very interesting. Have you ever checked it out? You get points for various things, like how much money you make, your health, whether you speak French... Basically I'd have to have a certain sum in the bank and as a self-employed person I'd have to promise to employ at least 2 (or was it 3?) Canadians within a year of arrival. It's an interesting prospect.

I have another LJ that I use for articles, but political and governmental stuff is mixed in with Christian stuff so I'm not sure most folks would find it interesting or useful.
