Thanks! I love that we seem to have no trouble being friends even with these differences. I love that about a lot of my friendships. :-)

The problem

...with this quiz is that the questions don't include non-religious spirituality and focus on "GOD" narrowly defined...so a lot of us will end up as "existentialist"...which is inaccurate.

You scored as a Utilitarianism
Your life is guided by the principles of Utilitarianism: You seek the greatest good for the greatest number.

“The said truth is that it is the greatest happiness of the greatest number that is the measure of right and wrong.”
--Jeremy Bentham

“Whenever the general disposition of the people is such, that each individual regards those only of his interests which are selfish, and does not dwell on, or concern himself for, his share of the general interest, in such a state of things, good government is impossible.”
--John Stuart Mill

Not an easy quiz. And I got a tie-breaker couplet of questions - the first was whether I thought we should make the most amount of people the happiest, and the other was about whether I thought a lot about the meaning and purpose of my life. I chose the former. But they're not exactly mutually exclusive, so the decision was tough.
