Oh no! That would be quite frustrating.
I totally remember the days of dial-up. The waiting a few minutes for a medium sized picture to load. haha
My family was very fortunate to live in a test neighborhood that had access to cable modems quite awhile before they were readily available to most.

Now I'm remembering the lovely modem-connecting sound from AOL days. How I don't miss those days. ;)

to think in the beginning days of internet no one thought anything of dial up. now i think my dsl is slow.
