Seems like the whole house is infested with spiders lately. Maybe it's the rain.

I passed my CTR exam today! I'm so excited. I didn't tell anyone I was taking it, because I was worried I would fail and I hate to look bad. It's one of my worst faults. Anyway, I didn't get a chance to study nearly as much as I wanted to, because by the time I got around to scheduling the test, it was a week before the testing period was OVER. And things have been really hectic. Evan was incredibly helpful all weekend, spending most of his time with Blue and cleaning up the house and stuff, but we ended up having a bit of a get-together for Blue's birthday on Sunday. So that plus other stuff ate up a lot of my time. But I passed anyway, hooray!

Most people probably don't know what a CTR exam is. Here's the short answer: It's the exam you have to pass to gain professional certification as a certified tumor registrar. I already have some other initials I use after my name professionally, but since my career has gone further in the direction of cancer research I broke down and went for dual certification. I put it off for years because I didn't want to incur more continuing education requirements, but the time has come.
