1. Do you have a college degree? Yes, a BS in Health Information Management

5. Have you ever attended a Toastmasters event? No, but my husband has
6. Favorite place to attend Happy Hour? I never had a happy hour spot
7. How many miles is your commute to work each day (one way)? Don't really have a regular commute, but my farthest place of business is >300 miles away and my closest is my home office
8. What time do you get up every morning for work? Sometime between 8:30 and 9:30am
9. What is your definition of sleeping in late? Noon--that would be awesome
10. Do you check your cholesterol on a yearly basis? Not annually but it has been checked
11. How large was your first cellular phone? Not that big; I waited for a long time before succumbing, so the phones weren't that giant
12. Does your employer provide good health insurance? No, I pay $1250 a month to insure my family myself
13. Did you use the internet to write a research paper? No internet when I was in college
14. Have you attended a HS reunion? Yes, I coordinated the last one, our 20-year. It was fun!!
15. How many jobs have you held in your professional career? Not sure which jobs to count. Since I started working, I've held about 15 jobs; 9 of those were after I got my degree.
16. Have you ever been fired or laid off from a job? No
17. What is your favorite drink? Dr. Pepper with crushed ice
18. What is the most expensive bottle of wine that you have in your residence? I don't drink it; we don't have any
19. Have you been divorced? No
20. How old were you when you stopped getting ID'd for alcohol? I don't remember--maybe around 25?
21. Favorite casino? I love the rainforest and the dolphin pool at the Mirage, but I think gambling is really boring
22. Are you happier now than you were in high school? Yes--who isn't?
23 Did you ever have Hypercolor shirts? No, I was too old for them to seem cool at the time.
24. Do you remember when Michael Jackson was black and attracted to older people? Yes
25. Do you remember when MTV actually played music videos? Yes; I remember the first day of MTV in fact! August 1, 1981. I used to sneak out of my room and watch it in the living room after my parents went to bed when I was on home leave.
26. Have you had a will made? Not yet
27. What music was in your CD/cassette player when you were 16? The English Beat's Special Beat Service. Prince's Purple Rain. Haysi Fantayzee's Battle Hymns for Children Singing. Wham!'s Fantastic. Depeche Mode's Some Great Reward. Howard Jones' Human's Lib. Style Council's Cafe Bleu.
28. Favorite fancy/upscale restaurant? The Carnelian Room, I guess
29. How long has it been since you attended a kegger? Ha ha! Last party with a keg was probably at our Divisadero place, maybe 10 years ago. Last party that lived up to the name "kegger" was probably in Nebraska in 1984, so 23 years ago. I've always hated beer.
30. How many major wars have you lived through? 9, according to http://www.worldstatesmen.org/WARS.html
31. Where were you when you found out about 9-11? In bed at home in Oakland--my housemate burst in crying "We're under attack!" and woke me up. I got up and watched people jumping and the second tower collapse on TV. It was absolutely surreal. We had a strong feeling of being a target, listening for planes overhead.
