Unsettled morning
Jan. 7th, 2009 07:19 amI had crazy dreams about being with George, and woke up thinking I urgently needed to pack before getting Blue ready for school (in the dark while everyone else is sleeping.)
I am so freaked out that the BART police killed that guy on New Year's Eve. I can't stop thinking about it. I saw the video someone took with their cell phone. SEVERAL people had cell phones and cameras out, videotaping, and the cop just pulled his gun out and shot this guy when he was on the ground with his hands behind his back. I want to go down to the station and claw their walls down with my bare hands. This is at least the THIRD shooting of an unarmed person by BART police that I can remember in the past few years, and at least one other was shot in the back as well. I am shaking with rage, sorrow, and sheer impotence.
