(no subject)

OK, so every single Hello Kitty thing I have bought in the last few days (don't ask me how many because I went to Ichiban Kan *and* there was a pop-up HK store in the lobby of one of my hospitals for a fundraiser, OMG) was wrapped in a thin, clear layer of plastic that was folded over a gummed line on one end. Opening each package entailed finding the end with the gummed seal and pulling it open. Not one of the items was packaged in a hermetically sealed rigid plastic clamshell that required a boxcutter to penetrate.

Just saying.
