Come join LJ's newest debate community. catfu_dogfu will be debating all kinds of pet-related topics, such as the best foods for different pets, whether or not cats should be declawed, whether or not allowing cats to live outside is abuse, etc. You don't need to be a current pet owner to join. Hopefully it will be fun!

So come on over and start a new debate. We need you and your opinions right away.

looks like a humongous range of topics are potentially to be considered there--almost overwhelming. are you following this group? what do you think of it in general so far?

I think the concept and execution will make the most sense to those who are currently members of booju_newju because it's largely the same crowd. Some folks just like to debate and some are spoiling for a fight. I think it's a great community for people who are interested in pet issues, and it's taken off swimmingly so far, but I'd hesitate to join if I were at all thin-skinned or quick to take offense.
