OH YOU GUYS, go see Persepolis! It is amazing! The animation is wonderful, and the story is all kinds of fascinating and moving. I laughed, I cried, I learned stuff. A+.

I woke up early with an ear infection, again. I get minor outer or middle ear infections frequently these days, probably from allergies and itching. They typically go away on their own after a day or three, but they really hurt! Ibuprofen calms the pain of inflammation. Hey, that sounds like a mantra.

I've had an earache lately too gah, it's making my gums smell up and hurt. I hope this isn't my wisdom teeth trying to push through. :/

I've been wanting to see that. Maybe next week when I have some free time.

to me it sounds like something people would sing or chant in a conga line. but now i just tried reading it in a more zen voice/pace and now it sounds like a mantra too!

thanks for the persepolis recommendation - maybe that will be my next movie. although honestly i think i need something a little feel-good right now... i don't know anything about presepolis except that it's good and i saw the animation on the poster. since caleb was born i saw the savages, the business of being born and 4 months, 3 weeks, 5 days. /babble

Yeah, Persepolis isn't really a feel-good movie but it wasn't a total downer. I love movies that make me genuinely feel and understand, not necessarily just react to a stimulus. Although I just saw In Bruges with George, one of those movies that alternately makes you laugh and cringe, very bloody, and I enjoyed it very much. I mostly hate manipulative tear-jerkers.
