This is one of the things I just don't get. Do people not perceive this as a problem, or does it get blamed on things other than the administrations whose economic policies cause these things to happen?

Actually, I think the bulk of them never look at the numbers, they just decide that tax and spend liberals are just that, make their decision based on the tag and move on.
