LJ and work
Jul. 23rd, 2008 05:10 pmI just cut down on my communities (on both LJs) and created special lists to narrow down my reading of LJ further. I read all personal journals but some communities I don't need to read all the time.
And now suddenly I'm finding that LJ is too slow for me. People aren't updating enough! I guess it's because I'm back at work and my diversionary tactic is to check LJ every 10 minutes. So it seems realllly slow.
I am an idiot. I got my car towed today. Noah told me to park on one side of the street and I defied him, and I got towed. $287. Ergh. If I don't go get it by 8pm it's another $50. My head is definitely NOT screwed on straight today.
Big survey at one of my hospitals on Friday. I've been out of town or occupied for something like 3 weeks, during the most crucial prep time, and left Noah to fend for himself even though he's never even done this before. I don't know what I was thinking. Things look pretty good but there is lots of last-minute stuff to do. And LJ is too slow--ha! Work and I should be exclusive right now.
