Another one that's bugging me lately is the substitution of 'phased' for 'fazed.'

No biggie. It just bugs me.

One that bugs me is "increased" being replaced by "upped". It's rampant.

Interesting! I hadn't noticed. I am a fan of colloquializing speech in that way sometimes, in the same way I like to say things "wrong" to be relatable or goofy or both. But in a serious context, that one would bug me too.

I've been seeing it a lot in health and wellness magazines; "up your dosage", "upped awareness". Ugh.
