twirlgrrlI ran out for ice cream, because it's a really hot day and I'm working downstairs for most of it. As I was coming out of Walgreens with the ice cream in my bag, I saw something scurry toward me on the sidewalk... A RAT. WHICH PROCEEDED TO RUN OVER MY FOOT.
Ew ew ew.
But you know, the revulsion faded quickly, and I got a glimpse of his disheveled furry brown rat face as he ran around the corner, and I am sad for him now. I wonder what brought him out into the light of day? Was he flooded or chased out of his home? Was it something to do with the heat? Was it a mama rat, and are her babies OK?
I am such a sap, I can't even believe it.
