How I got my Dead ticket

I got up early this morning to meet a guy at the BART station in Millbrae (exit 420 on the freeway) and buy his ticket for the sold-out Dead show this Sunday. He sold it because he is going into the Israeli army for his mandatory 3-year stint as an Israeli citizen, and he has to be there for his first orientation meeting earlier than he originally thought.

Alls ya have to do (that's how Blue says it) is find a ticket on craigslist. Face is $50-55. If you can find a ticket (and I did, it wasn't too hard) buy it and come with me!!! :D

My sister and her mister are flying down for Sunday's show at Shoreline. I think she's my favorite venue... well... Shoreline and the now torn down Cal Expo.

It would be weird for me to be there and not see Jerry.

It's always weird for me to be there and not see Jerry--even when it's not the boys who are playing! But I've gotten used to it, kinda... though I always cry at least once.

I'd probably cry too. I've never been to Shoreline when Jerry hasn't been there too. My sister called me from the show yesterday when they were playing Cassidy. They fly home today and I can't wait to hear all about it.

Aw. I wish I could take you with me. Better yet, I wish I could take you to, say, 12/12/92. Even better, I wish we could both go back to 11/8/69.

I'm still heartbroken about Jerry. Always will be I guess.
