kamigirl25 passed away early this morning of metastatic breast cancer at the age of 32. She was a phenomenal person, and her journal is fascinating and very moving. I feel so privileged to have discovered her on LJ.
I read her husband's account of her passing and was sobbing outright at the end. At some point, perhaps when the Bit is asleep this week, I'll give it a go.
As an aside, I took of care of my grandmother when she was dying and my foster mother (who died of cancer) and it was the hardest but also the most rewarding thing I'll ever do. Except, perhaps, raise my child. The cycle continues.
