I forgot to mention: Rose did much the same thing a few weeks ago. Decided to grab some scissors and cut chunks of hair from the side of her head. She's practically bald over one ear now. Looks ... well, it looks like she cut her hair! :) Really no way to fix it since her hair is already so short, so we'll just let it grow in (for a long, long, LONG time) and then even it out. It will probably take a year or two before everything looks normal again.
