Axis, Bold As Love is exquisite and all-encompassing. Turn it up and be enveloped in the splendor of love.

Little Wing pulls me into the secret core of my own heart. It speaks to everyone who harbors an inner yearning for feeling of safety, security and bliss that a child has while held in the arms of a perfectly joyously loving mother-goddess. And really, isn't that all of us?

Those are the top two for me, but there are plenty of others...

Burning the Midnight Lamp - I love to imagine Jimi all high and googly-eyed, geeking out on the multitrack in his self-built studio; I love the way he fades out at the end as if he's disappearing into his own loneliness.

If 6 Was 9 - Epic.

The Wind Cries Mary - nonsensical psychedelic longing through the looking glass.

Really, the whole Merman sequence in the second half of Electric Ladyland, the underwater voyage to Atlantis, and the Have You Ever Been intro to that album, and the super stoney jam session in Voodoo Chile, and the sweetness of Spanish Castle Magic... they're all brilliant. Just skip the one cheesy Noel Redding track on each album and you're golden.
