I discovered the secret to ordering from Zante's. Put in the order online before they open for dinner at 5pm. We put in our order at 4:48pm and specified it for delivery at 5:30pm. Lo and behold, guess when the doorbell rang?
Zante really is pretty fabulous. It's an Indian place in a former pizzeria, so they invented Indian pizza (yum!) as well as offering a full pizza menu + fantastic Indian food. The only problem is that they usually take FOREVER to deliver--I've waited 3 or 4 hours, and that's with calling them multiple times. Not good if you're starving. So I ordered early this time, actually before they opened, and WHAM! the food turned up quickly. That's the backstory here.
i was trying to teach banjo his address, and i was quizzing him on where we live and he busted out with "between 13th and 14th." i never told him that, only the restaurants.
also, he once handed a delivery guy my wallet, took the bag of food and walked into the house. and this was not even recently, but younger.
