1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first article title on the page is the name of your band.
2. http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four words of the very last quote is the title of your album.
3. http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days/
The third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
RESULT?

Wait wait wait... the second one turned out so much cooler.

Date: 2008-01-15 08:58 am (UTC)I love San Francisco; it is a city of many faces but there is a lot of hippie history here too. The only problem with mid July is that I go to the Oregon Country Fair every year and we are usually gone for a week around that date. If you guys are on this coast you should try to time your trip to go to the fair, actually. It is hippie heaven, seriously. It's been in existence for almost 40 years, started by a bunch of hippies on land partially owned by the Kesey family. It's like a renaissance faire for hippies, millions of crafts, many stages with bands and performances of all types, and everyone is welcome to come perform on the sides of the paths and in the parking lot as well.
So, yeah, if you weren't here in SF during country fair time, we'll be around and we'd love to feed you.
As far as places to perform, honestly I'm not good at thinking through that kind of thing. Maybe if you came up with the types of places you're thinking of you could then look at a directory for each town you'll hit and identify likely places, then call them and make arrangements in advance. You'll figure something out I'm sure. This is a big city and a very large metropolitan area!
Maybe one thing you could do is call the SF Mime Troupe and ask them. They're the same troupe that Bill Graham started out with in SF, and they do free shows all around the country but they're based here. They might have some good ideas for you.
