SF Mime Troupe!

It's the weekend closest to the 4th of July, and you know what that means!

Everyone in the general vicinity of San Francisco should be at Dolores Park at 1:30pm for the San Francisco Mime Troupe's new summer play!

If you haven't seen the SFMT yet you can read up on them or just trust me when I tell you how wonderful, hilarious, moving and thoroughly San Francisco they are.

Sadly I cannot be there unless something changes drastically between now and then. I have 7.5 hours to make this happen. Hmm.

That would be fun! I have a friend in from out of town that weekend and I'm not sure what we'll be doing and when I'll need to babysit (same friend who needs the carseat) so I'll have to just pencil it in for now.

Yeah, me too. We're leaving Monday the 21st on a big trip, so the weekend might get eaten up with preparing for that. Or maybe we'll need a mime break!

We were just at a birthday party not long ago for the grandson of one of the members. I've known his daughter since we were teenagers. The show should be a great one (although I'm pissed the posters Ed gave me to put up in the building were stolen the next day!).

Oh, I love him. He and Velina Brown are my favorites!! He did a rap as Dick Cheney years ago that had me gasping for air.
