I like this one
Sep. 17th, 2008 05:12 pmI know I'm posting a lot of political stuff lately and I know I'm not the only one.
I really like this ad! I kindof hope he does more like this in the near future. Although I don't know if this approach will work with people who aren't already planning to vote for him. I have no perspective on what might work or not. Still, this is a nice, direct, calm, positive approach and I hope it helps.

Date: 2008-09-18 01:22 am (UTC)Renewable, baby! That's the biggie I think. And reduce use through energy efficiency, stimulating production and purchase of efficient vehicles, etc. A bunch of other stuff. The only thing I'm sure I'm not crazy about is the "clean coal" BS. I never said he was perfect. ;)

Date: 2008-09-18 01:39 am (UTC)On his website there's something about $7k toward the purchase of an efficient vehicle, if I remember it right. That might help! But there would have to be stronger motivation for car manufacturers to make more of them too. There is no way Toyota could make enough Priuses for the demand if everyone got $7k to buy one. (I'm so Prius-biased, LOL)
