OK, so about that food meme I just did... Some of you are doing it and I'm realizing that this is a great opportunity to collect the names of some great restaurants all over the country.

Please comment with some of your favorite restaurants (one, a few, or a lot) and the location (city/state/whatever) of the restaurant. You can recommend specific dishes too, if you want. I'll put them all in my travel notes. Then I'll know where to eat wherever I go!

One of my favorites:

Burma Super Star (San Francisco) Get the sesame chicken, coconut rice, poodi, tea leaf salad, and ginger lemonade. Divine.

I'm going to go for something more casual. I am in LOVE with Hound Dogs pizza in Columbus. It is a pretty unusual place, graffiti on the walls and a large classic car hood for a menu. It's kind of an indy place that is open nearly 24/7. I suggest getting a Smokin Joe's crust Pesto Pie (pesto, mozzarella, feta, olives, and tomato.) Num num num.

It's nothing fancy, but I love this place. The service sucks pretty bad during peak hours, but it's part of the charm really. Anytime before 8pm is usually not bad though, the place can actually be quite dead. Servers are likely to have mohawks, or any other variety of piercings, hair color and tattoos.

It's an experience for sure.
