Aubrey Organics Natural AHA Fruit Acids with Apricot Toning Moisturizer is the best moisturizer I've ever used on my face. I keep it in the fridge, as it's all herbal/no weird ingredients, and mmmmmm it is wonderful! I had oily skin growing up, and still have oily patches, so I hate any moisturizer that's the slightest bit creamy, greasy, slick, sticky, or shiny. This one is watery, and soaks in immediately without making my face feel greasy. It just erases all the flaky bits. And it smells like pounded roots or something--tres herbal. Yummy!

Another thing I've love since high school: nacho cheese Doritos dipped in sour cream. I know, I know. After high school this became a once-every-5-years sort of thing. But Evan has been keeping the gravy train going recently, so he's a fan too. After having several snack days in the past few weeks, I'm ready to give it up for a while again, but he won't stop buying them! Maybe after this batch. Plus, now that I've tasted the new BUFFALO RANCH DORITOS dipped in sour cream, it's bye-bye nacho cheese baby! Them buffalos is good eatin.

I made it to the paint-your-own-pottery studio last night just in time to paint ONE plate for my mom's birthday; as a crowning touch (well, as the whole point of the exercise), we sponged paint onto Blue's hands and smudged them onto the center of the plate. I hope it turns out OK once it's glazed and fired. I hope they finish it before we leave for her birthday celebration Friday morning. I'm pretty sure she won't be reading this; as far as I know she does not read this LJ at all, but one never knows, does one? At any rate, she's on vacation and unlikely to track down intornets while she is away. I can't wait to give her this present! She never wants presents, she has everything and doesn't want more clutter, and I've exhausted the comestibles, flowers, lotions and soaps angle. But I think she will really like this present.
