The couch has achieved liftoff! It is free of stains and odors! It sits proudly in our living room, enjoying its second life. Huzzah!

HUH?

wow! Your couch is in Second Life? That's a really sophisticated piece of furniture. What's its avatar name? ;)

Sophistication is my couch's middle name, baby.

I need to reread your recipes on making the couch habitable. We recently got a second couch from a friend who moved. It's awesome, but there is a tiny bit of cat urine smell if you sit on one part of it. (Okay, I'm the only one who can actually smell it, but I still think it's there!)

Wash that part with soap & water, then soak it in white vinegar and leave it in the sun to dry.

Or, if no one can smell it but you, Nature's Miracle might work. I'd still wash that part of the cushion first if I were you. And vinegar is cheaper.
